Asante Network AN is a non-profit organization dedicated to selling goods handcrafted by women in Tanzania and Uganda. Our focus is on providing a sustainable source of income for these women by creating access to markets for the baskets, jewelry, clothing, batiks and other crafts they have traditionally produced. AN is an all volunteer organization. All proceeds from sales and donations are returned to Tanzania and Uganda in the form of payments to the artisans, distribution of micro-loans, scholarships for children’s secondary and post-secondary educations and special projects as requested by the villagers or students.
